I wouldn't spend my bucks only for something rubber coat my roadbike handle bar
Actually you can wrap up directly your bike handlebar with motorcycle foam grip, that cost only < US$1 a pair, but this foam grip is absorb the water, include your sweat :p , and this thing is to thick, not comfy to grasp it
So i decide to wrap it again with unused tube tape, and you got a firm handlebar to grasp
What you need
- 1 Unused 26 Tube, cut it both side, and make 2 pair like usual bartape
- 1 Unused 700c Tube
- 1 Pair motorcycle handle bar foam grip
put that motorcycle foam grip to your handlebar
and then wrap it up with 26 tube, make sure wrap it neat and tight
at the end of the bar, put 700c tube as a lock,
this handlebar diameter is quietly same with 700c tube diameter
so it will lock your bar tape firmly
thats all
ride in speed, people will not realized that you using under than $1 bar tape :p
